The Church Music Association of America is a society of Catholic musicians and supporters who have a special interest in music and liturgy. We are active in advancing Gregorian chant, Renaissance polyphony, and other forms of sacred music, including new compositions for liturgical use, in Catholic parishes in the Extraordinary Form, Ordinary Form, and other traditions across the United States. The CMAA’s purpose is the advancement of musica sacra in keeping with the norms established by competent ecclesiastical authority.
